A Brief History

At first I was an aspiring chef who wanted nothing more than to cook for those I loved. My passion turned into a full time study of the ins and out of the hospitality and restaurant industry. I’ve had the pleasure to work back of house as a chef, cook and on the line in the heat of fire. I’ve been a butcher, baker and dim sum chef. I’ve worked with a multitude of talented chefs in the industry and managed to carve out a niche of photographing food the way I see it.

From humble beginnings as a private chef, I’ve had the honor to cook for people like Sir Bob Geldof in Hong Kong. The heat of kitchen taught me to never give up. Now I run a company in Hong Kong called Love True Food Ltd. trading as Love True Light. LTF focuses on the education sector, we train universities in Food & Beverage Management skills. We also focus on wellness through Ayurveda (an ancient Indian system of healing). Through LTL, we focus on creating beautiful imagery for restaurant owners and the like. I hope to share my passion of food and photography through this blog, exploring the many dimensions it has to offer.
